Shrimp and Grits Kids Gives Back - Sullivan's Island, SC Beach Sweep

As everyone knows, Charleston is BEAUTIFUL in every way.  We're fortunate to live here year-round and enjoy everything it has to offer.  Our team recently headed out to beautiful Sullivan's Island for a beach sweep for our monthly SGK Gives Back.

Unfortunately, people litter along our beaches which is (obviously) a big no-no.  When and if trash ends up in the ocean, marine life can end up consuming it which can cause harm or death.  The solution is to just NOT litter.  It really is as easy as walking a few extra feet to one of the trash cans on the beach.

So we decided to make a day of it and hit the beach to pick up as much litter and trash that we could find.  We all realize how lucky we are to live here and want to do our part in keeping our beaches looking great and safe for all sea life.
